30 Jan '13: Tennis, Indoor Athletics and the FA Cup
Your host for this week's show featuring tennis, athletics and FA Cup football is Adrian Barnard. Novak Djokovic and Victoria Azarenka won the singles titles at the Australian Open at the weekend. We hear from both and the defeated finallists Andy Murray and Li Na. In athletics the indoor season is underway in Europe. We hear from Kenyan-born US runner Bernard Lagat, still winning races at the age of 38, after his 3000m win in Glasgow and other winners at the event, Bethel Birgen in the men's 1500m and Germany's Verena Sailor who surprised the USA's Carmelita Jeter to win the women's 60m. Finally we look back on some of the shock results in the Fourth Round of the FA Cup - the world's oldest club competition and still delivering the magic after more than 140 years.
